Unblocking Your Smartcard
Smartcard resets must be approved by an authorised member of your company. Cases can be raised by any Vorboss Control Panel user and then approved by an authorised member of your company.
How To Unblock Your Smartcard
Entering your password incorrectly more than three times will display the message below. If you do not see the screen below, please refer to the Error Messages section of this article.
Click OK to continue to the following screen. If you do not see the screen below, please refer to the Error Messages section of this article.
You will be asked to quote the reset code displayed on the screen.
A new code will be generated by a member of the Vorboss team and will ask you to enter this into the field labelled Response. Following this, please type your new password and ensure you confirm it before pressing the enter or return key or clicking the arrow.
If you have successfully reset your password, please remove and insert the Smartcard, and enter your new password to login.
Password rules are dependent on your company policy and will be verified by a member of the Vorboss team.
Click OK and make a note of the new reset code that will be generated following a failure to unblock your Smartcard.
I cannot see the reset code or enter my new password. What should I do?
Please remove your Smartcard, restart your desktop or laptop, reinsert your Smartcard and repeat the process above.
I can only see the response field. How do I enter my new password?
Scrolling down on your display may resolve this issue. Screen resolutions may affect what is displayed is on your screen.
