Call Routing

For specific dialplan configuration or to find out more, please raise a support case.

We’ve included some examples of call routing below.

Call Forwarding

All incoming calls to xxx xxxx xxxx will forward to yyy yyyy yyyy

Voicemail

As each extension can have its own email address, users will be sent voicemail messages directly to their mailbox:

- Incoming call to xxx xxxx xxxx
- Ring extension 101 for 15 seconds
- If no answer, go to Voicemail for extension 101
- Hangup after caller has left a message

You can access your voicemail by dialling 500. Additionally, you can use the Useful Numbers page to learn more about other features.

Out-of-Hours

During holidays or out-of-hours we can configure specific dialplan. Below is an example of call routing for all the bank holidays in May 2015:

- Incoming call to xxx xxxx xxxx
- If today's date is 4th May 2015 forward all calls to yyy yyyy yyyy
- If today's date is 25th May 2015 forward all calls to yyy yyyy yyyy
- If today's date is any other day and the time is between 17:30 - 08:30 (outside of working hours) forward all calls to yyy yyyy yyyy
- If today's date is any other day and the time is between 08:30 - 17:30 (working hours) ring extensions 101, 102 and 103 for 30 seconds
- If no answer, go to Voicemail for extension 101
- Hangup after caller has left a message

Custom Greetings

If you would like to play a custom greeting during incoming calls, please raise a support case, within which you can upload and attach the file(s).

Custom greetings can be used in conjunction with Interactive Voice Response menus.

Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Menu

You can use the IVR menu to direct callers to a specific department within your company, i.e. sales, technical support, etc. Below is an example of an IVR menu:

- Play custom greeting with menu options
	- Press 1 for Sales
	- Press 2 for Technical Support
- Listen for key input from caller
- Go to dialplan for Sales (if key 1 was pressed)
